Refunds and voiding an invoice

Refund a payment in full or in part from MeloPay → Payments; the receipt updates and your client gets the money back on the original method.

An unpaid invoice can be voided — it stays on record, marked void, and the number is never reused.

Refund when money moved; void when it never did. Both leave the paper trail intact — a voided invoice still shows in the job history with its number and a void mark, which is exactly what you want when an accountant asks why invoice 41 is missing.
